Ryan Kam, a Recognized Marketing Leader From Salesforce and AppDynamics, Joins Five9 as CMO

SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2018-- Five9, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVN), a leading provider of cloud contact center software for the digital enterprise, today announced that Ryan Kam, longtime Salesforce and AppDynamics creative and digital marketing leader, has joined the Company as Chief Marketing Officer.

Kam comes to Five9 from AppDynamics, where he re-branded the company and directed its IPO roadshow. He previously held a range of roles at Salesforce, including creative director for the flagship Dreamforce conference and head of digital marketing for the company. He also has held creative roles at digital marketing agencies Silverlign Group Inc., Astone and SolutionSet.

Reporting to Trollope, Kam will be tasked with leading Five9’s overall marketing team, evolving and elevating the Five9 brand, driving demand for its cloud contact center solutions and services.
