Burdiek is a seasoned technology industry professional with more than 20 years of experience in implementing effective business strategies and is currently the president and chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors at CalAmp. Some of his previous positions include:

• President and chief executive officer of Telenetics Corporation, data communications products manufacturer
• Senior vice president and general manager of Comarco's Wireless Test Systems unit
